02 Feb Community Corp featured in CD-11 (Mike Bonin) Newsletter
“Thanks to the support of the Westchester community, the Westside took another step to address our homelessness and affordable housing crises this month.
The Neighborhood Council of Westchester/Playa endorsed the Kite Crossing Apartments Project, which will provide 102 units of housing – a mix of low-income housing and long-term supportive housing for people who are formerly homeless, especially our increasingly large population of homeless seniors.
The project, located at 8333 Airport Boulevard, is spearheaded by the Community Corporation of Santa Monica, an experienced affordable housing developer. The project will incorporate 25,000 square feet of onsite landscaped open space and include pedestrian improvements for the neighborhood.”
