TENANT SELECTION CRITERIA

Community Corp. is dedicated to providing inclusive housing opportunities. Our “Tenant Selection Criteria” guides selection and occupancy and follows required governmental regulations. These regulations may include guidelines from HUD, HCD, TCAC and City of Santa Monica.

Community Corp. complies with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Fair Housing Act, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the California Fair Employment and Housing Act and the Unruh Civil Rights Act.

  • Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability.
  • The Fair Housing Act prohibits discrimination in housing relation transactions based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, marital status, disability, and familial status.
  • Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color or national origin.
  • The California Fair Employment and Housing Act and the Unruh Civil Rights Act prohibit discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, familial status, disability, age, marital status, sexual orientation, source of income or any arbitrary basis
